The Greatest Electronics

Once upon a store, were seven best friends. Mimi the Mp3 Player, Larry the game boy, Chuck the Nintendo DS, Marry the cell phone, Dora the computer, Lisa the IPod, and Kyle the light bulb.  One night, after the whole store closed up, all of these electronics came to life.
“WHOA! I am an Mp3 Player!” said Mimi. “Kids will love listening to their music on me!”

“Holy Cow!” said Larry. “I am a game boy! All the kids will love playing their game boy games on me!”

“Hey!” said Chuck. “I am a Nintendo DS! All the little kids and older ones, and maybe even some adults will love playing their Nintendo DS games on me!”

“Oh my gosh!” gasped Marry. “I am a mobile cellular device! I guess you could call me, a cell phone! All the kids will love texting on me and calling each other and talking about whatever it is kids and teenagers talk about these days!”

“Wows!” said Dora, filled with excitement. “I am a computer! Everyone will love playing their computer games and online games on me! They can be social with each other, listen to their music and even search the web on me to find pictures, information, news, and everything you can possibly think of! I can even help the kids with their homework!”

“Awesome!” yelled Lisa. “I am an IPod! One of the most popular and newest devices out their! I have games, applications, and the internet all built into me! You can even search the web on me for everything, and you can call, and even text your friends on me and download free applications!”

“Great,” said Kyle with disappointment. “I am a light bulb. I am not as cool as all you other guys. You cannot play games on me, or search the web. You can’t talk to your friends threw me. You cannot call or text anyone. I am no better then you guys. I am useless.

All the other electronics looked at Kyle in dismay.

“Kyle!” Marry the Mp3 Player yelled while putting her hands on her hips. “How can you even possibly say you are not worthless? You are very important!”

“Yeah,” agreed Larry, shaking his head up and down. “You are very important for everybody.

Kyle replied, “How?”
“First of all,” Dora started to say. “You see each and every one of us? We wouldn’t be who we would be right now if it was not for you Kyle.”
“How so?” Kyle asked.

“Well,” Lisa started to say. “Each and every one of us lights up. And we would not be able to light up if we did not have a light bulb inside of us.”

“Yeah Kyle!” Marry said, cutting in. “People have you lighting up their homes all around the world! We would not have any light at night at all if it was not for you! Everything would be dark during the day and pitched black during the night.”

“Hmm,” Kyle said rubbing his chin in a thinking motion. “I guess you guys are right.”

And from that day on, Kyle saw how more important he was then all the other electronics were, and never downed himself again!
